Goodbye Mr. Frog!

It was time to say goodbye to the frog we found last summer. Kenneth found him inside the basement of a house he was working on(in your subdivision, Raelynn!) He was a tiny thing then....and has done quite well on a diet of pet-store purchased crickets. He needed more room to grow and jump...and the kids had pretty much lost interest...so Mr. Frog was released into our neighborhood's pond a couple nights ago.

Aww - this reminds me of some turtles we raised from babies. I have a similar picture of the kids watching them go down to the pond where we released them! Fun!

If your kids decide they want to have another one, I know where they can find them. :-) We have "frog rescues" in the summer. Troy took out a couple hundred from our window wells last year!

Arlene, I remember those pics. Your creek was always full of good stuff! And Raelynn, I don't think we want another frog! You can keep alllll 200 of them. :-)
